Industry News-Tips for remodeling a smaller bathroom
BArich Hardware-Here are three favorite areas to address with smaller bathrooms. But much of this information can apply to larger bathrooms, as well.

How hard is it to buy some knick-knacks and place them around the room? Bingo! First mistake. Apparently they are not called knick-knacks. If you're planning to remodel your bathroom here are our tips:
Budget
Whether it be a bathroom, kitchen or deck, the most asked question by our clients is, how much does a reno cost? It's a fair question as once you have been doing them for a while you sort of know a ball park figure. But before you get exited about your builder's estimate, just remember it is just that, an estimate until you sit down and work it all out it with them. It could be a lot more or a lot less depending on what finishes you are looking for.
Big cost items in a bathroom are fittings and materials. For a bathroom, I recommend getting your builders in for a quote and also to discuss design options. A good builder will help you out with looking outside of the box, especially when it comes to reconfiguring the space. If you are going to tackle it yourself, make sure your trades have all the proper insurances and qualifications. The last thing you want is for something to go wrong - leaking water can be disastrous and costly. Do it right the first time.

World News-SE Asia creates Economic Community
BArich Hardware-Thirteen years after the idea was mooted, Southeast Asian leaders on Sunday formally created a unified economic community in a region more populous and diverse than the European Union or North America, and with hopes of competing with China and India.

BArich Hardware-The French authorities, families and foreign ministries across the globe have almost completed the heart-wrenching process of identifying the victims killed in Friday’s Paris attacks. Of the 129 confirmed dead, at least 25 were foreign nationals.

BArich Hardware-the world’s biggest furniture retailer, may slow the pace of planned new store openings in France as it increasingly looks to e-commerce and click & collect services to drive sales.
"The speed of the expansion plan may not be what was announced... We are reviewing the best solutions so that we can be as near our clients as possible," new IKEA's Chief Executive for France Olivier Baraille told a news conference.
The Swedish group, known for its low-priced but distinctive furniture and its sprawling out-of-town stores, will spend 160 million euros (120 million pounds) on a new store in Orleans, central France, in fiscal year 2015/2016 and renovate two of its existing stores near Paris.
IKEA France spent 181 million euros in the last fiscal year to Aug. 31 to open one store in Mulhouse in the east and one in Bayonne in the southwest, lifting the total number of stores in France to 32.
It also plans to open one new store in Nice on the French Riviera and one in Venissieux near Lyon by 2019.
Baraille would not say if IKEA's longer-term ambition to lift the number of its stores in France, the euro zone's second-largest economy, to 40 by 2020, was still valid.
IKEA is still considering opening a shop in central Paris and setting up pick-up points for the collection of goods ordered online to respond to changing shopping habits.
It is also boosting its kitchen offering and spending 3 million euros to revamp 15 of its restaurants over two years.
France, which accounts for around 10 percent of group sales, is IKEA’s third-largest market after Germany and the United States.
IKEA, which employs 9,740 people in France, is the country's top furniture retailer, with a stable market share of 17.75 percent in the year ended Aug. 31, 2015.
Sales rose a reported 1 percent to 2.408 billion euros in fiscal 2014/15, with store renovations weighing on its first-half growth.
The second half benefited from an upturn in the overall French furniture market as the economic climate improved.
The overall French furniture market rose 2 percent during the first eight months of 2015, according to the FNAEM furniture retail federation.
French consumer confidence jumped to its highest level since October 2007 in September, suggesting the traditional driver of growth is beginning to see a timid recovery.

First of all; it's important to pick and choose which areas of the bathroom will hold the black color. For instance; if you choose to use all black toothbrush holders, soap dishes, lotion dispensers, and more; it's important to use a light color vanity counter top for the contrast. Placing a black accessory onto a dark color counter top will blend and take away from the design. There are even black accessories that have a few designs in color that can also help with incorporating other hues. Remember; black isn't the only color that should be in a bathroom.

BArich Taiwan-A national university in Taiwan was commissioned over the summer by the Ministry of Education (MOE), to launch an international exchange program allowing foreign students to enroll on short-term courses and take vocational internships.
The two-month Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) offered by the College of Management at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung City, enabled foreign students to participate in teams consulting selected enterprises during the summer vacation and learn about the operations of Taiwanese companies.
The program also offered foreign students courses in Chinese language studies, as wells as opportunities to exchange work experience with Taiwanese counterparts and visit local economic and cultural sites, as a way of broadening their understanding of Taiwan.
Each participant received a scholarship of NT$10,000 (US$306) per month. In return, participants provided information about their respective countries to the Taiwanese enterprises that funded the exchange program.

 

BArich Taiwan-Hungarian police on Tuesday cleared Budapest's main train station of hundreds of migrants trying to get to Western Europe, prompting a demonstration by around 200 young men outside.
"Germany! Germany!," the crowd chanted outside Keleti station. "We want to leave!" and "Merkel!" they cried, referring to the German chancellor. Some held babies as well as train tickets aloft.
The crowd later calmed down and several hundred people — men, women and children — remained outside in the baking sun, many sitting on the ground and in the streets around as police blocked entrances to the station.
The station later reopened but only for non-migrants, an AFP reporter at the scene said, with police only letting people in who had tickets, ID cards and relevant visas.
"Go down, get out, go down the steps now!" one police man shouted in English at the entrance to the station at a large family from Syria or Iraq who included a woman in a wheelchair.
"I am really pissed off. Why can't the Hungarians just let us go," one Afghan migrant, Haider, 31, told AFP after ripping up his ticket. "I worked as a translator for the U.S. Army for four years. I got here at 5 a.m. (0300 GMT)."
An earlier public tannoy announcement at the train station, which has been packed with migrants for several weeks, said no trains would be leaving or arriving "until further notice" and asking everyone to leave.
Some migrants then began shouting as hundreds of police, some of them riot officers, began moving people out although they offered no resistance and there were no clashes.
The announcement came after around 500 migrants tried to board the 9:10 a.m. (0710 GMT) train to Vienna, the AFP reporter said.
In August alone, 50,000 migrants, mostly from hotspots such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, entered European Union member Hungary.
